Many of the social media sites such as Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook offer a portal of entertainment and communication which has grown exponentially in recent years. Although this may be a source of leisure for people, the usage of these devices and programs have provided an escape from reality and have made people’s lives less social. These distractions have prevented people from being able to live in the present moment, having a strong use of time management and being able to have meaningful connections with their peers.
